Truth about IDF Bombings in Gaza

From an e-mail

From a colleague in Israel:
Here is some information that may get lost in the news but should be spread to all media.
As we all know, Hamas hides ammunition and secret tunnels in residential homes in Gaza. When the IDF identifies a storage house, it telephones the family, warns them about the coming bombing, and gives them enough time to leave before dropping the bomb. The Palestinians are familiar with the principles of the IDF and know that it will not drop a bomb on the house as long as they stay in it. Therefore they all go up to the roof and stand there so that the Israeli pilots can see them. In response, to force the residents out before destroying the house, the IDF has developed a special bomb that it can drop with great accuracy on an unoccupied corner of the roof, next to the people but not on them. The special bomb makes a frightening noise but does not harm anyone. Only when the frightened people run out and clear the area does the IDF drop the real bomb that destroys the house. No army in the world has ever gone to so much trouble and expense to develop a technology and a tactic for the sole purpose of saving innocent lives among its enemies.
